The Design

Mavuika continues the visual language of the Archon Series, with all lettering set in the languages of the real-world cultures that inspired her.

Mavuika is one of my favorite archons. Regal and decisive, and devoted to her nation — but beneath that fiery, competitive, quick-witted exterior beats a heart that's tender and fiercely loyal. She's the kind who'd take on fate's burden all by herself, just so she could hand hope back to everyone in Natlan. And Natlan is a nation that sees unity through to the end — a place of belief, sacrifice, and the purest heroic spirit.

I wanted to put that blend of strength and softness into this note, so Mavuika is posed as a warrior goddess — but she's wearing a kind, gentle smile.
